So I’ve been watching my Digg and Engadget RSS feeds at work and there’s a lot of talk about this. Basically the FCC started looking into the issue of Comcast throttling certain things like torrent downloads and such. Well this is all against the Net Neutrality deal. So the FCC had a hearing in Boston this past Monday and Comcast paid a ton of people to show up early, fill all the seats, and cheer them on. Because they filled all the seats, the press and people who were siding with the FCC couldn’t be there. Lame huh? I think it’s wrong! I want faster torrents!!!

So at work we’ve been doing a lot with social networking and I was thinking…Man, it’s huge! From your MySpace and Facebook to bookmarking sites like del.icio.us (Which by the way is the coolest domain name EVER!) and even Twitter. Bottom line…People like talking to people and they like to know what everyone is doing at that EXACT moment…Odd. Anyways, I signed up for a Twitter account and maybe you guys can sign up to. The address is here. Oh and also, I’m typing this up on Flock. Chris showed it to me a long time ago and I never really used it because I wasn’t too into the whole “social networking” scene. But now I’ve finally found somewhat of a use for it.

For those of you who don’t know me, I love to code. I enjoy the challenge of facing a huge obstacle and taking down the challenges one at a time until I get a working solution. But man, I hate getting started! Recently, I’ve started using the Zend Framework and CakePHP, but still, I hate the part where I create the templates, get the database set up, get the CRUD forms going. After that, I’m okay, but there are so many sites I want to do… for example, my blog, but I just installed WordPress. I really wanted to create a blog from scratch. But why? WordPress is so nice. Oh well.
