So, my boss recently heard about the health department coming down on the Vintage Press and he could not believe it. He wanted me to post a quote from him on this blog. So here it is:

“I absolutely love the Vintage Press restaurant. Whenever anyone comes to visit me from out of town and I want to impress them about Visalia, the first place I take them is the Vintage Press.

I have no idea what’s going on with the health department, but I can tell you that nothing the Times Delta said will influence my extremely favorable impression of the Vintage Press.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s a fantastic restaurant. I will continue to patronize the VP as well as Jack and Charlies. And you can quote me on that.”

Investing in oil is probably the best thing you can do right now. The problem is you want to invest in an actual oil well instead of oil stock. But where would you find a place to invest in an oil well that was a legitimate opportunity? And it would make me nervous to invest in oil outside of the United States, so I think the best thing would be to find an oil well in the US that was in the middle of a bunch of other oil wells that was owned by a private party instead of a major oil company. The big oil companies would never let you invest in just one well. But a private party would be more willing to share the wealth if he strikes oil.
