Here’s a short list of some of the Wordpress plugins that I use for my blog. 

• Advanced Category Excluder – Great way to exclude certain categories for showing up on certain pages. Since I have Lifestream making posts of my Tweets  on a daily basis I use A.C.E to keep them from showing up on the home page.
• Akismet – One of the best spam blockers ever. Must have a Wordpress API key to use which you can get from signing up to Wordpress.com
• All in One SEO Pack – Gives you a lot of control over the SEO aspects of your blog. You can have custom titles and meta descriptions for each post and even have different descriptions and keywords for your home page. 
• FeedBurner FeedSmith – Replace your old RSS feed with your FeedBurner feed that way you can check out some stats of how many people your feed is reaching.
• Google Analytics for WordPress – Must have. Google Analytics. Need I say more?
• Google XML Sitemaps – Creates a XML Sitemap every time you create new posts or pages.
• LifeStream – Pulls info from various social sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, etc. The list goes on and on.
• Lightbox 2 – Fancy lightbox effect for images.
• Sociable – Adds the social sharing links to the bottom of posts and pages.
• Woopra – Woopra is still in beta (Last time I checked) but it’s definitely one of the best free live website stats I’ve seen yet. 
• Wordpress Download Monitor – Offer a lot of downloads on your blog? This plugin provides an easy way to manage all your downloads plus it keeps track of how many times a file has been downloaded.
• WoW-Character-Display – Must have for any World of Warcraft player. You can easily post stats from the Armory of multiple characters and even your guild.
