Windows 7 Party Pack
So I finally got my Windows 7 Party Pack. Here’s some pictures:
Included was: four colored streamers, 10 tote bags, a deck of playing cards, a puzzle, balloons, some promotional stuff, a poster and of course a signed copy of Windows 7 Ultimate.
Installing it on my MacBook was another story. For some reason I couldn’t install the Boot Camp Control Panel off the OSX DVD and so I had to download a hacked version of the file and copy all of the drivers off the DVD. Then I had to run the installer to get everything working and try to find the drivers for the multitouch trackpad. But in the end:

nice. After running it for a bit let me / us know your performance review. I’ll be interested to hear how you like it.

Well…I’ll probably only keep it on my MacBook until the party and then delete it. It runs okay but the trackpad is extremely touchy and I really have no use for Windows being on there. I haven’t even tried standby.
I also read an article lately that Windows 7 isn’t any faster than Vista booting up and a 3 month old install of 7 is actually SLOWER than Vista.
In the end, on my MacBook, OSX > Win7. Atleast for me anyways.
