Social Media Overload!

Ahhh! I think I’ve got too much going on. Or maybe the interwebs have too much to offer. So far I’ve got my Twitter, Flickr, my photoblog, Tumblr, this blog, Facebook and who knows what else. How do you guys manage everything?

I’ve thought about converting this site into sort of a hub for all my online presence since as of right now it really doesn’t have a main focus. But then I would be deleting a few posts that still get some traffic day to day. I like my photoblog because it’s tied to my name and I can blog about my photography experience there and just general things in life. Tumblr is something I just started to get into. Kind of gives me a place to post all the random stuff I see online or just make small posts about stuff.

What would you do?

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2009!

Like most people I make a few New Years resolutions. Whether or not I actually keep them, well that’s a different story. This year I’ve decided to actually post my resolutions on the blog so maybe someone out there will remember them and somewhere down the road ask “Hey how’s (blank) going?” and I’ll reply “Eh, kind of dropped it”. From then on you can call me lazy or whatever you need to say to get me back on my resolutions. Sound like a deal?

My first resolution is the same as 99.998% of people — lose weight. Not a lot of weight, I’m going to turn into Skeletor or anything but I do want to lose a few pounds. Along with that comes working up the muscle a bit. It’s time to put that gym membership to work.

Second on the list is to learn something new. To fulfill that resolution I’ve decided to take up photography. I’ve already got a pretty nice camera that lets you set a lot of things manually but also does RAW images. Not a bad start.

Third — One picture a day for a month, to start. I might go longer but to get the hang of it and see if I can actually pull through with us I’ll start off with only one month. Plus it gives me a chance to work on my photography skills and you, the readers, can follow my progress in a way. Some of the pictures might be random but hey, it’s a picture.

So that’s my list. Not very long but I think if you keep it short it’s easier to actually stick to it. Maybe I’ll add one more to the list, post more in the blog! =)

What’s your New Years Resolutions?

Man This Sucks!

I feel like I’m getting old and falling apart. First I had that stupid problem with the pain in my side and now my ear is all stuffy and I have to take antibiotics and use some stupid nasal spray. =(

I guess it’s better than having to put a stupid tube in my ear to release the pressure. Hell no to that.

What A Pain!

So…Sorry for the lack of updates but I haven’t been on the computer outside of work all that much this week. I have a little story about a pain I had.

Monday morning I got to work and I had this sharp stabbing pain in the bottom right portion of my stomach area. It sucks. It lasted all day and I had no idea what it was from. I started doing some research and I noticed that it is RIGHT where my appendix would be. Not good. I also read up on hernias and such. The reason why was because on Sunday Jamie had called me over to help him lift a fountain that you would think was made to be lifted by a crane. Anyways, we lift the fountain and get it all situated and I came home. No problems, until Monday. But anyways, hernias are a big ouch. So at this point I think “Man, this could very quickly into a big problem with my appendix or I could have a hernia.” Which depending on what kind of hernia it could be, that could be another very big problem.

*Whew*

Man, I just got back from a crazy game of Soccer and man, I am out of shape. I mean REALLY out of shape. We just started the game, I made one sprint down the sideline and I was done. I couldn’t make this stuff up. Game lasted two hours and lemme tell you, that was one hell of a work out. Anyways, I need to do that more often. You guys want to join me?

On a side note. I also need to save money. This has been going on for a while but whatever I make, I spend. My bank account never goes up. Well only when I first deposit my check but by the time I get my next check I’m back to the same spot I was before. So if any of you guys (or girls, but last time I checked there weren’t any girls commenting) have any ideas, lemme hear them.
